Lagos also provides an excellent base to visit some of the Algarve’s finest, most beautiful sandy beaches, including the spectacular Meia Prai and Prai da Luz. The stunning beach of Prai da Luz has it’s own blue flag with Life Guards on duty at all times. There is great fun to be had with various water sports, a popular resort for surfers.

Other beaches include Praia de Don Ana which situated just a short distance from the town of Lagos. A little further down lies the Praia do Camilo and Meia Praia both beautiful beaches to visit.
