Boavista Golf hosts the Sir Henry Cooper/Mike Reid Charity Golf Classic

Opened in early 2002, the Boavista course has quickly made a name for itself as one of the premier courses on the Algarve. With it’s fine greens and fairways, bordered by beautiful sub-tropical landscape, and with a stunning backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean and panoramic views extending from Praia da Luz round to the hills at Monchique, this is a course to be played and fondly remembered.
The 250-acre golf course is said to be one of the finest in the Algarve. As featured on sky TV, the course is also part of the annual Sir Henry Cooper and Mike Reid Charity Golf Classic.
Umbrella pines, blossoming almond, fig, palm and olive trees line the rolling fairways, weaving their way between water hazards and shrewdly placed bunkers. Breathtaking views, spectacular scenery and the clear Atlantic Ocean, which is visible from most holes, all combine to make this course a delight for the keen golfer. This is a golf course that has all the attributes to fulfil the expectations of all golfers - irrespective of their playing abilities.
Please be advised that you need to send your handicap details to the Golf Services Manager and your preferred Tee-Off times prior to your arrival date.
The resort also offers a great driving range for those of all ages and various skill levels, keen to master or improve their golf swing. Should you wish to take advantage of any extra golfing tuition, sign up for a few lessons with the highly experienced golf pro! Why not also take advantage of the pitching and chipping area, practice bunkers and putting green located on site.
Included in the price of the accommodation is 25% discount for green fees.
